Carissa Dear, FNP-BC
Carissa Dear, MSN, FNP-BC, a native of northern Virginia with an undergraduate degree in psychology from Mississippi State University. Carissa attended Georgetown University where she completed an additional Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degrees in Nursing. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. She is Board-Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with more than 12 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in hospital emergency departments, urgent care centers and family practice facilities. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners with special interests in emergency care, infectious disease and pediatrics.
Clorissa Fischetti – FNP
Clorissa Fischetti is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been a part of the LMG family for almost 3 years. She worked full time at our Sterling VA location for 2 years and now has joined the LMG Cornwall Urgent Care full time. Clorissa originally received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education at San Jose State University. She was yearning to pursue her passion for nursing, so she moved back to VA to be with her family and attend Marymount University. Clorissa graduated Cum Laude from Marymount University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and went on to become an operating room nurse. Years later she went on to achieve her Masters of Science in Nursing at Marymount University, where she was honored with the Malek Academic Excellence Award. Clorissa went on to work in convenient care clinics, family practice and urgent care settings. She cares for her patients and has a positive impact on their lives. She encourages her patients to be the best version of themselves.
When Clorissa is not working you will find her on her twin sister’s farm spending time with the ones she loves or going on a hike with just her and nature.
Kimberley Washbourne, FNP-BC
Kimberley Washbourne is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Kimberley is a native of the Shenandoah Valley. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College earning an Associates of Science in Nursing before attending George Mason University earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing then graduated with honors from the Mary Mount University with a Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner. Kimberley has worked continuously as an advanced nurse provider since 2003 and her diverse clinical experience includes family medicine geriatrics, urgent care, adolescents as well as acute care within the hospital setting. She has 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. She is a mother of one and a half: her daughter and dog.
